CSD95430: IOUT 1K resistor?

Dear TI team,

Base ont the datasheet, all paralledled phases should have a 1K resistor from IOUT to the controller.

Question: this 1K resistor is must or not? Thanks

It is a must if paralleling is used.

Hello,

When paralleling, IAVG is compared to IOUT. The voltage drop across the 1K adjust the duty cycle and makes IOUT = IAVG. Without the resistor, IOUT is always equal to IAGV and the imbalanced current can not be adjusted.

Another question is if 1 Phase only connect 1 power stage like below picture showing. this 1K resistor is not needed, right?

Hello,

That is right. IOUT is connected directly to IAVG.
