ULN2803C: PIN IO confirm

Part Number: ULN2803C

Hi team,

we are see that the others competitor ULN2803 device will follow 18pin package (Left) , but our ULN2803C(right) will have two more NC pins, customer can not directly use for P2P solution. can you help to update these device to 18pin? or we dont have plan to refresh? tks for the checking.

Hi Allen,

This device can be used with the same footprint as ULN2003/other ULN2803 devices, is the issue simply the difference in pin count?

tks for the comments here.

as i know, the ULN2003 is 7channnels and ULN2803 is 8 channels. And yes, the issue simply is the difference in pin count, because during the

AOI Inspection Equipment, external 2 NC pins will affect the Inspection results. that why we want to check any update of the new "ULN2803" package.

Correct, ULN2003 is 7 channels.

I think it's best if we continue via email on this.
