The current value set by the sense resistor is considered to flow to the high-side FET.

How does a low-side FET get involved?

What is the current rating required for a low-side FET?
Please let me know.

    Hi Yuka,

    Thank you for your question. The low side FET will carry the inductor current when the high side FET is off. More information can be found in section 9.4.1.2 of the datasheet.

    In terms of the current rating required for the FET's, please refer to the calculator for this part to calculate all necessary external components.
