TPS55289: Start up issue

I have used TPS55289 to design a buck boost with VIN 8V to 24V and Vout set to 14V, i am not using any I2C as i assume it is just to read the data and TPS55289 IC is stand alone IC

Hello Rahui,

You mention that you have a startup issue. The TPS55289 needs I2C communication for starting switching. You need to set to OE bit to 1.

Hello Brigitte,

Thanks for your kind reply, I will test my board with I2C as per your suggestions and will let you know, apart from OE bit, is there any other bit to set or initialize?

Mode pin set to LOW
Output feedback set to external
- Feedback calculated considering Vref = 1.129V
Output current limit is disabled

Address - 75h
DATA - HEX Value 28,05, 64, 01, 83, E7, A2, 00
