Is there a way to detect if PD negotiation did or did not happen using HW or SW for the TPS25730EVM? For example, if I use a USB-A to USB-C adapter to plug into a USB 2.0 port can I detect that no PD negotiation happened and enter into low power mode?
Currently I can only detect if there is mismatch between PD capabilities and this requires a PD negotiation to happen, however I get the same signal if no PD negotiation happens. This leaves me in an ambiguous state where 1) yes, a PD negotiation happened, and the capabilities match or 2) No PD negotiation happened, and the source capabilities are unknown.
