HI

I am using two Bq76952 devices.

I want to use 23 cells and do cell balancing.

Can i connect 12Cells from AFE1(lower AFE)  that is Cell 0 to Cell 11 and 11 Cells from AFE2(Upper AFE)  that is Cell 17 to Cell 27.

Also which cells we have to use to do cell balancing in such configuration.

Please provide me any reference design or application note

    Hello Harish,

    We have a stackable reference design here:

    This is for a high-side stacked application, a low-side FET drive application would be much easier to implement on the FET driving circuitry.

    As to which cells are used for each AFE, it can be distributed in many different ways. So you can decide how many cells per AFE. Balancing would be done independently between each IC, so if you want them to balance all to the same level, there is a 0x0084 CB_SET_LVL() subcommand.
