Once you have sent SID read command (5A3h), you could get the SID information from SOUT.  You can refer to register map figure 30. 

And for sending this command, you can refer to figure4 for detailed procedure.

For the daisy chain, every device will transfer this command thru SDI and the output the SID information from common shift register.

Is there any way i could my data comming out to be valid or not from SID register? How to confrim that ?

Another thing is that my configuration is dasiy chain configuration of two this driver.
So it show that after 288 bit which is 36 bytes we have toggle the latch than giving back the data through SDO pin,


What to do in case of daisy chain configuration?
For example , in write data we basically dump data upto 72 bytes in one go.
So same things to be done daisy chain configuration too.

You need to send 288*2 bits and then latch for the daisy chain. Similarly, the SID information is 288 bits*2.

Hi Pranav,

This is Mam instead of sir.

1. There is a lookup table. If you make GS data< 9th GCLK, you can refer to that PWM lookup table to waive this fault:

2. GCLK is a counting clock for PWM generation. You can see PWM frequency is F(GCLK)/2^N (N= PWM resolution bit). So basically GS data is based on the turning-on GCLKs.

3. DO you still have problems on the readback?

It is compulsory that after 288 bit we have toggle the latch,or it could done before 288 bit for example after 250 bit we could toggle latch

basically I read the data from SID register , I found the fault  that it ,nothing special is not done to find diagonastic fault.

2 devices in daisy chain, so you need to send 288bit*2 and then toggle latch.

Here mam i am sending SID command upto double of 288 bit which 576 bit after that I toggle latch but I did not get any data on SDO pin

You need to send SID command after GS data write.

You can try with 1 device first and then 2 devices.

Hi Pranav,

You know only when the output is sinking current which means GS data is not zero, could the device detect LOD/LSD. So you must send GS data and then begins the readback of SID.

I found that I am using ERR pin , if I remove any LED, that ERR pin goes to 0 volt by default that pin is high that is 5V.
Could you provide LED driver sample code , it will be helpful.
Now I make it working on 1 led driver only .

Hi Pranav,

Since you remove LED, then there is LOD error for sure. OK. Here is the sample code for TLC6C5724-Q1 but they share exactly the same interface and you can directly light up your TLC6C5716-Q1.

The code you sent me , there is only sending part , but there is no receiving part , how you will I receive data ,

Actually convert it but there is no receiving part ,For example send SID than , how I receive this data from SID register?

I found that to receive data from SID required clk , there is no clk after toggle latch 

Also in datasheet it is mention

Another thing is that how to check that my communication between LED driver and microcontroller is working properly , is there any register that could tell that.

yes. you are right. We only have lighting up code in the sample code. But in the TLC6C5716/24-Q1 GUI, we have shown the SID read command. See in this slides.

Where is it mentioned that data is coming from SDO ?

There is no register that could indicate the communication is well except the read GS register. The suggestion is to use GUI to monitor the SDO. If it's not convenient for you, pls allow me some time to test.

I have already provided SID read and the SDO output in the screenshot. Basically, SDI is 5A3h, and 288SCLKs, Latch toggle, and then SDO has output. GS read is quite similar to SID read. The command is like the above figure.
