    depend on stray parameter of your cable and the fre. of clock. how long do you want to support now?

    depend on your cascading device number and line number

    3. What communication was used to operate the LP5891Q1EVM with the MSP-EXP430F5529LP demo? (Does MSP430 provide CCSI functionality?)

    no, it use SPI(data) + GPIO(Clock) to simulate CCSI. but it is not stable so that why we didn't suggest to use it. good news is that currently we have a device called zeppelin which can convert standard SPI to CCSI to drive LP5891 and the engineering sample is ready.

    1. As far as I know, the maximum external frequency of LP5891Q1 is 50MHz. Is stable communication possible up to 1 meter?


    2. Is it possible to transmit a 60FPS video using TMS320F2800x under the following conditions?
    - cascading device number : 4 (LP5891Q1)
    - Line number : 64 lines

    3.Thank you for introducing me to the device, zeppelin. Could you please send me the datasheet or detailed spec information?

    No, it can't. even for SPI, it is not possible to achieve that. why you need to communication such long distance between the controller and LED Driver?

    No, the TMS320F2800X just support 10Mhz CCSI. but zeppelin which converts standard SPI to CCSI can support up to 20Mhz SPI/CCSI. otherwise we suggest to use FPGA to generate higher rate interface.
