Hello!

I am setting up SPI interface with TPIC7218 using TM570LS0432 controller.

I am able to achieve SPI communication between SPI1 and SPI2 peripherals in TMS570 controller development kit.

But facing some issues while communicating with TPIC7218, for eg if I want to write some data in R/W register of TPIC7218 ,the data is not getting transmitted as expected and I have verified it with the read function for the same register.

I am following the SPI requirement that is mentioned in data sheet of TPIC7218, attaching the snip for reference.

Hello Sakshi,

Are all R/W registers not written as expected or only for specific address?

Is the data reading back from the address always same regardless the data written to the address?

Hello Norikazu,

Yes, the all the R/W registers are not written as expected. Also, the data that I am receiving (reading back) is same regardless the data written to the address.

Hello Sakshi,

It looks write operation does not work.

Can you capture SPI waveforms when sending write commend?
