The BQ25790 supports different battery configurations, from 1S to 4S. The safety thresholds for over-discharge protection, like VBAT_UVLO and VOTG_UVP are near 2.4V, which might be fine for 1S configuration, but for 2S-4S configuration these thresholds translate to very low cell voltages: 1.2V, 0.8V, 0.6V. Is it true that VBAT_UVLO and VOTG_UVP do not scale with the number of cells? If so, does it mean that an external circuit is required to protect the battery from over-discharge or is there a different feature that takes care of that in BQ25790?
