Hello

I have tried to complete learning cycle on bq34z100. The update status was changed to 0x05 but it is not changing to 0x06. I have tried doing a discharge cycle two times the OCVTAKEN bit gets set and VOK clear after a rest period but update status does not change to 0x06. The chem id is set properly using gpcchem tool. I have attached the log file and gg files.

Hi,

It appears your resistance tables have updated from the .gg file you sent, can you confirm this on your end?

If your resistance tables has updated your gauge is functioning as if you have reached update status 0x06.

The resistance tables have been updated. It did everything it was supposed to do but the update status still stayed at 0x05.

Hi,

This is actually good news, resistance tables do not update until you reach update status 0x06. Your device is functioning as if you have reached learned status 0x06. I have seen update status get stuck at 0x05 before, you can manually change it to 0x06 if it is a problem for you. But as far as a learning cycle is concerned you have completed the learning cycle and your device is ready for the field.

The other thing I have noticed is during discharge cycle the grid number is going only up to 12. Is that normal or should it be going up to 15.
