BQ35100: how to properly configure GNDSEL

Without a schematic I cannot confirm your board. However, if you followed the EVM schematic it should be ok.

You said " SRN pin is connected to the system ground through 100 ohm (filter resistor) as in the evaluation board", I assume by GND you are referring to Pack-, this is correct.

1/2) can you explain what you mean by this? SRP should be connected to the negative terminal of your battery stack.

Yes, but GNDSEL bit is zero which means that SRP is the ADC ground.

1 - Is the configuration of GNDSEL (bit is zero) correct when Pack- is connected to SRN?

Understood, Thanks for clearing up your questions.

1) GNDSEL should be 0 (SRP) if GND is referenced to BAT- or 1 (SRN) if GND if is referenced to Pack-.

2) Is the improper GNDSEL is selected it will compromise measurement accuracy.

So in my case (same as eval board)  GNDSEL should be 1, since vss is connected to pack - ,

1- Am I correct?

2- if not l, should i do recalibration with the new configured value?
