Hello Community,
I am working on the Quectel EC200 GSM module with one MCU on board for CAN communication.
The device is powered from the Buck converter LM5013 and the backup battery of 1000mAh is also there to power up.
When the main supply is cut off, the device must switch to the backup battery supply automatically.
For that, I need the specific charging IC with the following features.
1,) The charging IC input voltage must be a minimum of 5V DC.
2.) The charging IC must have the boost converter also up to +5V DC so that while charging it is boosting up the battery voltage also i.e. 3.2V - 4.2V to +5V DC up to 1.2 to 2 Amps. +5V is needed by the device to run.
3.) The charging IC has no external configuration interface (UART/I2C) & the charging current must be controlled by the external RC circuit. (charging current may vary from 500mAmp to 1Amp)
4.)Status indication for charge & discharge,
5.) Auto Cut-Off on a full charge.
6.) Auto Cut-OFF to prevent over-discharge.
Will you please help me to find the best cost-effective solution suitable for my kind of application?
