Is it possible to use the BBP and BBN pins for measuring mV drop across a shunt resistor of 0.0005 ohms.
The max current to be measured is 100A for which max voltage drop across shunt will be 50mV.
As per the Abs max ratings in the datasheet, the Input Voltage across BBP to BBN is specified between -80 to +80V which is the common mode voltage Vcm.
And the Vbb_range i.e., Vbbp-Vbbn is -600 to +800mV as per the Recommended operating conditions.
Hence, I was thinking if its possible to use the BBP & BBN pins for feeding the mV drop across shunt and getting the corresponding ADC value along with the Voltage and Temperature to the Microcontroller through the UART.
Is it possible to estimate the current value on the MCU using the received ADC value from the AFE based on the input to the BBP & BBN pins?
Also is the Gain of the ADC in the AFE '5X' ?
Thanks & Regards
