Hi team,
we suggest 20-68uF for Cout. will using a larger capacitor like 470uF lead to any risk?
any test recommended to add to prove the system is OK?

Hi Dane,
Usually 20-68uF(ceramic cap) is enough to achieve good ripple and transient response. So I want to know your purpose of using a 470uF(electrolytic cap I think). And the large ESR of electrolytic cap may cause loop stability problem.

Shipeng
Hi Shipeng,
There maybe some large transient and need larger output caps.
if the loop test and transient test can pass, it means 470uF is acceptable?
