Without adapter(output from TPS55288):

ELO, ET1002L => USB-C cable standard plug and reverse plug test OK pass.

ASUS, MB16AC => USB-C cable standard plug and reverse plug test OK pass.

MSI, Optix MAG162V => Fail(always show MSI logo, repeat reboot…)

MSI, Optix MAG161V => Fail(show no signal, then turn off display)

ELO, ET1502L-2UWC-1-G => USB-C cable standard plug and reverse plug test OK pass.

DN, D1150 => USB-C cable standard plug and reverse plug test OK pass.

With adapter:

DN, D1150 => USB-C cable standard plug and reverse plug test OK pass.

ViewSonic, VS17552 => USB-C cable standard plug and reverse plug test OK pass.

Please help to check the TPS65987DDH USB-C F/W to light up the MSI Optix MAG161V and MSI Optix MAG162V display.

We found Elo monitor with DP assignment D (2Lane DP + USB) can work, but MSI monitor(withour pass in file name) with assignment C (4Lane DP) will fail in display, the system can detect the minitor device but just no display.20240515 test log.zip

Since the signal from MB is 2Lane+USB, can this signal support 4 Lane DP output ?
Please help to check this MSI monitor CC log can accept 4Lane DP or not from CC log ?

1. Could the signal from MB is 2Lane+USB to support 4 Lane DP output ?

2. Please help to check this MSI monitor CC log can accept 4Lane DP or not from CC log ?

Hi Jay,

From the provided logs, the monitor only supports assignment C, so it needs 4 lane to display, however the hardware design on the HUB system only has 2 lane capability.

Since this is an issue with the monitor, I will go ahead and mark this as closed.
