We are currently using the TLC6C598-Q1 Power Logic 8-bit Shift Register LED Driver in a automotive design. We reviewed the datasheet and would like to know/confirm the max ESD value for the TLC6C598-Q1. Is there a typical circuit application for TLC6C598-Q1, does this typical circuit include ESD capacitors or other protection? Can you recommend what extra ESD protection is needed on LED driver?

Regarding the max ESD value in the datasheet, do you mean the below spec? from my understanding, it is the kind of standard test in accordance with AEC Q100 about HBM and CDM. For extra ESD protection, it depends on your system requirement for ESD test, you can add extra ESD diodes on the relevant path. Also from the application side, our I/O pins has ABS rating, please make sure the device won't work exceed this value.
