Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS25830A-Q1,
Hi expert,
TPS25830A-Q1 has internal switch for USB2.0 and support BC1.2 SDP/CDP.
Can TPS25762-Q1 support it with some external MUX device?
Thanks!

Hi Jass,
The TPS25762 does not support CDP/SDP. It was designed to only support DCP charge only applications.

If we have external USB2.0 mux and one soc for signal switching, can we support BC1.2 at the beginning and then turn to USB2.0 mode with soc?
Jass,
All of the USB negotiation needs to be done with a single device, so a Mux will not work. The DCP is the first part of the negotiation and the SDP/CDP occurs immediately after and they are sinked. There is no way to mux between them.

Hi Chuck,
Do we have a solution that can support both PD3.0 and USB2.0 data transmit in automotive?
Seem TPS25762 cannot support it.
