TPS2492: Is it possible to disablle power limit? How to protect switch MOS when the load is a large capacitive load?

Part Number: TPS2492

1. TPS2492 has a power limit function. It is written on page 8 of the manual that if the constant power limit is not used, PROG should be tied to VREF through a 47-kΩ resistor. I want to disable power limit, but tied a 47k resistor between PROG and VREF cannot disable the power limit. Shorting VCC and SENSE can disable power limit, but after VCC and SENSE are shorted, current protect is also disabled .

I want to ask if it is possible to disable the power limit? Or how to avoid damage the switch mos under conditions of large capacitive load or load startup?

2.The manual mentions that dV/dt control can be carried out through Cgd, but I feel that the effect is not obvious after actual measurement, . I would like to inquire whether the dv/dt control can be used as a slow start for large capacitive loads? How to configure Cgd parameters.
