Hi team,

I wanted to know if reading the register 0x02, will give the exact battery battery temperature and is it possible to identify under temperature, over temperature conditions during charging.

    Hello Aldrina, 

    Reading from the 0x02 register will return either the temperature measured from the gauge's internal thermistor, or the temperature from an external thermistor. Whether the gauge reports the temperature from the internal or external thermistor depends on the OpConfig [TEMPS] bits. Please see the following image taken from the bq27426 TRM.
