LM74900-Q1: Device for 12V/417A Oring controller with disconnect.

Just to let you know, We wont need inrush protection ...May be LM7480-Q1 will work ? with 6X those MOSFETS? 

Hi Navin,

Inrush protection can be achieved with any controller which can drive back-to-back FETs. Hence LM74800-Q1 also has it. I think you meant over-current protection which is LM74900-Q1 only feature.

May be I was not clear in my question. We need to OR three different supplies and Disconnect the supplies in case of over voltage or under voltage, I don't need over current. 

For That I was thinking of LM7480 but I have doubt on paralleling six of IAUCN04S7L004 MOSFETs and driving it with LM7480. Do TI have any similar example where higher current line 418A are handled with ORing devices? 

Hi Navin,

6 FETs can be driven with this controller, only thing is that the turn on time will be high which we can calculate easily. While the FETs are turning on current will flow throw the body diode and PD will be high. That is what we have to take care of.

We do have examples where customer use 100A+ Oring and can be used safely.

And what about the HGATE side? I need to put 6 FET for diode and 6 for HFET.
