TPSM84624: The operation of TPSM84624 when open/short of particular pins

Part Number: TPSM84624

Hello team,

My customer has questions because they would like to confirm how TPSM84624 behaves and whether it is dangerous or not.

1) DNC pin (open indication on data sheet)
① What is the possibility of operation if the DNC pin is connected (or touching) to GND? (Could the output voltage change or cause component failure?)
② What is the possibility of operation if the DNC pin is connected (or contact) to the VOUT voltage (for example, 0.85 V or 1.8 V)? (Could the output voltage change or cause component failure?)

2) TT pin (not open on datasheet)
① What is the possibility of operation if the TT pin is open (floating)? (Could the output voltage change or cause component failure?)
② What is the possibility of operation if the TT pin is connected (or touching) to GND? (Could the output voltage change or cause component failure?)
③ What is the possibility of operation if the TT pin is connected (or contact) to the VOUT voltage (for example, 0.85 V or 1.8 V)? (Could the output voltage change or cause component failure?)

3) SS/TR pin
① What is the possibility of operation if the SS/TR pin is connected (or touching) to GND? (Could the output voltage change or cause component failure?)
② What is the possibility of operation if the SS/TR pin is connected (or contact) to the VOUT voltage (for example, 0.85 V or 1.8 V)? (Could the output voltage change or cause component failure?)

4) RT/CLK pin (when used in RT mode)
① What is the possibility of operation if the RT/CLK pin is left open (floating)? (Could the output voltage change or cause component failure?)
② What is the possibility of operation if the RT/CLK pin is connected (or touching) to GND? (Could the output voltage change or cause component failure?)
③ What is the possibility of operation if the RT/CLK pin is connected (or contact) to the VOUT voltage (for example, 0.85 V or 1.8 V)? (Could the output voltage change or cause component failure?)

Your advice is appreciated.

Best Regard,
Akihisa Tamazaki
