Hi team,
Recommended values differ between new die and old die.
What is the effect of using a 0.47uF capacitor in the new die?
Why is the difference in capacitor values between A and B?
BR,
Kengo.

Hi Kengo,
The way the device is spec'd I expect the new device to be unstable if 0.47uF is used. I will have to get back to you on the "why".

Nick
Hi Kengo,
The reason that the new device seemingly has a different spec than the old device is that the datasheet for the old device was not clear in the language on whether the 0.47uF requirement was capacitance or a capacitor requirement, and the documentation for the old device is limited. The new device is stable with 1uF capacitor or 0.47uF capacitance (~50% derated 1uF).

Nick
