BQ4050: About the application issues of SHUTDN

Hello，TI's engineers

I have a few questions about the application of the shutdown function.As shown in the figure, S1 is a self-locking switch, and K1 is a reset switch.

1. If the battery is in shutdown mode, can the battery be activated after closing S1? Will disconnecting S1 again enter shutdown? Can I exit shutdown after pressing K1 for another 1 second?
2. When the battery is in normal mode, can I enter shutdown mode after pressing K1 for 1 second? Can I exit shutdown mode by pressing K1 again for 1 second?

    Hi Sunrain,

    If a high to low transition is seen from the pin with a debounce delay of 1s, then the gauge should be able to enter and exit shutdown mode.
