My customer is planning to use TPS51604-Q1 on their new design. This is a battery powered design. Here was the message:
We want to use the TPS51604-Q1 to drive the FETs, which are used to drive the motor coils in a 3-phase configuration with 3 half-bridges. CSD87502Q2 might be interesting, which we would use as a half-bridge (connecting drain of channel 1 with source of channel 2) in combination with driver TPS51604DSG. System consists of motor drive system and magnetic bearing system.
Can you help me understand if this is a common use case for TPS51604? As a motor controller? I’m trying to figure out if I should support this or try to move them to integrated motor driver (which I understand is part different product group).
