Hi team,

 could you help to explain the description of " It is acceptable for the voltage on the pin to be different from the boost power stage input. "  about the VCC pin?

 why and how the voltage will be different? tks for the checking here.

    Hi Allen,

    this means that the voltage supplied at VIN of the TPS55340 can be different to the voltage supplied to the inductor (boost power stage).

    This might be used to reduce the losses in the TPS55340 for high supply voltages.
