Hi I have a question, if the input voltage exceeds the output voltage, is there any possibility of damage to the TPS55430? If so, please tell me how to deal with it.

    Hi,

    thank you for using the E2E forum.

    as long as the input voltage is in the allowed operation range of the TPS55340 there will be no issue for the TPS55340 but also consider that the output voltage will increase to Vin minus the diode drop of the power stage.
