TPSM33625: TPSM33625 Transient PSpice Model(SNVMCA6) cannot run on PSpice for TI

Part Number: TPSM33625

Dear Specialists,

My customer would like to confirm TPSM33625 with PSpice for TI, but they could not.

I would be grateful if you could advise.

---Question

The PSpice Model of TPSM33625 cannot be executed on PSpice for TI.
Could you please let me know what to do.

Tool used: PSpice for TI 23.1-2024 S001 Windows SPB 64-bit Edition

After downloading the TPSM33625 Transient PSPice Model,
Open tpsm33625_trans.opj in SNVMCA6.ZIP with PSpice
File→Design Resources→\tpsm33625_trans.dsn→Startup→PAGE1
I displayed the circuit diagram using this procedure.

In TPSM33625, Run PSpice is grayed out and cannot be selected.
Please take a look at the attached screenshot.

By the way
TPSM82864AA0SRDJR was able to run Run PSpice and check the waveform.

---

I appreciate your great help in advance.

Best regards,

Shinichi

  • Hi Shinichi-san,

It looks like that file doesn't come with a default simulation profile. They first gotta make one by clicking new simulation profile:

Then maybe having it look something like this. Then they can run their simulation.

    Thanks,

    Andrew

  • Hi Shinichi-san,

Can you please try again, but make the startup schematic the root file before step one?

    Thanks,

    Andrew

  • Hi Andrew,

I tried the simulation you suggested, but PSpice was still forced to shut down.

    ---

    made a root file

    then made anew simulation

    Simulation Settings

    the simulation button can click

However, After clicking, the simulation was not executed and was force to shutdown.

A kind of error message appeared, but I could not capture.

Could you please advise what to do?

I appreciate your great help and cooperation.

  • Hi Shinichi-san

Could you try re-installing your version of pspice, and try again?

    Thanks
