For TPS2490, I have selected a MOSFTE SQJ138EP.
While calculating the junction temperature from case temperature, on page 9 below equation 9 is given in datasheet -
With this equation the case temperature is 209 degrees C which is well above the absolute maximum Tj rating of MOSFET (Tj max = 175 deg C)
So Can I assume Tase > 30 deg above ambient (say ambient = 90 deg C)
With this, my junction temperature is well within the limits.
