TPS2117: TPS2117 Setting and Truth Table question !

Part Number: TPS2117

Hi Sir,

         Q1.  Base on TPS2117 use basic application circuit  (in priority mode), if Vin1 or Vin2 is floating, the circuit can be work ?

         Q2. Follow the truth table setting " mode pin connect to VIN2 ". if VIN1 >= 1.6V and Vin2 is floating , vout is ? 

          Please help with 2 question,  thanks !

    Hi Len,

    Welcome to e2e!

    Q1. Yes, the circuit can work with one of the inputs floating.

    Q2. If MODE is low, the device will output whichever input is higher. So if VIN1 > 1.6V and VIN2 = 0V, the output will be VIN1. However, if PR1 is high while MODE is low, the device will be disabled and VOUT will be Hi-Z, as per the truth table.
