Hi,
I would like to know the Coss of the lower MOSFET internal to the IC (Switched node capacitance) of this IC.
Can you please help me with this value, or approximate value in pF?
Warm regards,
Siri

Hi Subrahmanyam,
My sincere apologies for such a long delay in response. I had an emergency and could not come back earlier.
Coming to your question, regarding the switch node capacitance, I can tell you the approximate number based on the new generation devices, it is close to 2.5 nF.
Meanwhile I have asked the design team to get the exact number for CSD95372 device, they will let me know and once I get it, I will convey it back to you.
However it would be very close to 2.5 nF, hence you can for now approximate the number.
Thanks & regards,
Abhishek
Hi Abhishek,
No problem. Thank you so much for your response of 2.5 nF.
However, I have a follow-up query, typically, the SW capacitance is dominated by the MOSFET Coss which usually will be in the range of few 100's of pF. Any specific reason to have such a high switching node capacitance value? Was this intended in the IC design or is it not taken care during the design and is estimated after the device is fabricated?
Warm regards,
Siri
