TPS25830A-Q1: Apple device charging question

Part Number: TPS25830A-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS25831-Q1

Hi team,

Customers want to know how large the current is when TPS25830A-Q1 cannot support DCP AUTO.

In my understanding, when apple device connect the charger with a type-C connector, the device cannot support Type-C protocol. So it can only use BC1.2 CDP, which is 5V/1.5A.

If they use TPS25831-Q1, it has DCP AUTO feature. So the device can charge with 5V/2.4A. Right?

Besides, if the apple device is IPHONE15PRO, which has full function type-c connector, it can charge with 5V/3A(type-C protocol), right?

Regards,

Peter
