Hello,

We are now trying to replace out power solution from LTM4671 to TPS53355. One problem is as belows:

We hope the voltage decreasing is below 15mv when the load(50%) is coming.

As a result, we can apply a Type II C-R-C compensation network to improve the Transient Response, especially the decreasing in voltage when the load is coming.

However, we can not find any similar options in TPS53355.

Dose TPS53355 support ?

If not, can you recommand other Ti device?

I would like to make sure I am understanding your question correctly. Are you asking if TPS53355 supports Type II C-R-C compensation network to improve transient response?

If not, you would like a recommendation to another TI device that supports this and has good transient response?

May I also ask what are your conditions? Vin? Vout? FSW? Iout?

We have devices that are in development and releasing soon with very good transient response.

Vin=12V

Vout=0.95V

Iout will jump from 10A to 20A.

We hope the voltage decreasing is below 15mv when Iout jump from 10A to 20A.

Hello,

I would like to recommend one of our newest devices in development, TPS546E25.

This device will be able to support your condition of 12vin, 0.95Vout, and Load step from 10A-20A while Vout decreasing is within 15mV.

This device is equipped to handle such load transients with minimal Vout undershoot and overshoot. The part is still in development and we are working to get this device out for release.
