My bq2004 charger is not limiting the current to 2.25A. It allows all the current to pass through it. I checked frequency at MOD pin also, it is ok.

I checked voltages at pins of BQ2004 EVM & my charger board. Its same at all pins.

Then what could be the possible fault.

Hi Deepak,

What is the value at the RSNS pin? Because IREG=0.225/RSNS.

Does the EVM limit the current or not with the same battery? Does the LED1&2 work properly? Where is DSEL connect to?

Please provide more info, like the battery type your are using, voltages ...etc

What current are you seeing and where are you measuring it?

What value of Rsns are you using?

Are you using the same configuration as the EVM? Please let me know the configuration you are using.

I found out the error. By mistake I interchnange connection b/w drain & source terminal.
