CSD97395Q4M: Any recommended multiphase controller for this device?

Part Number: CSD97395Q4M
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CSD, TPS40425

Hi,

I'm planning on using a pair of CSD97395 powerstages to drive a thermo-electric cooler (TEC / Peltier device). Basically, the CSDs would each drive one side of the TEC, meaning the TEC would be driven differentially.

The basic CSD Vout would range from 0V to 12V. The TEC neutral state would be with both CSD driving 6V. Maximum heat would be 12V / 0V while maximum cool, 0V / 12V.

In order for this to work, one of the CSD needs to SINK the current sourced by the other.

Question 1: Is the CSD97395 capable of both sourcing and sinking the 25A max continuous current?

Question 2: Can you recommend a multiphase controller suitable for that device (as shown in datasheet figure 3)? One with both voltage and current sense capabilities?

Thanks,
