LM5121: LM5121 Lion Battery charger

Hi,

I want charge 100V lion battery with boost topology and CC-CV. Is LM5121 suitable for battery charging? If not, do you suggest any design?

Vin: 40V-56V

Charge current: 2A

Battery pack voltage: 100V

    Hello Musa,
    Thanks for reaching out to us via e2e.

    The LM5121 is a booster which can only regulate on a constant voltage output.
    Constant current operation is not possible with the built-in features.

    Maybe have a look at the LM5171 or the LM5170.
