I would like to ask the default SMBus address on the TRM of BQ40Z50-R2 is 0x16, and the address set value in the DF register is also 0x16, but why do I see the address 0x17 when I connect to bqstudio? However, I did not change the default SMBus address. Finally, I don't understand how the address check value is obtained.

0x16 (or what ever is programmed in the address parameter) or 0x17 should be functional as a target address. Just to confirm, please try communicating with the device from the programmed address by altering the target address in advanced comm.

If the address parameter has been altered to 0x0B, then changing the target address when using advanced comm while following the standard process should allow for communication:
