BQ4050: When the following conditions are met, SOC becomes 100. Under what conditions will SOC begin to decrease?

SOC will start to decrease when a discharge current is applied to the battery.

If there is no discharge current, then the gauge will ideally stay at 100% SOC. Now, over a long period of time with no discharge current, there will be some small leakage and self discharge of the battery. The voltage of the battery will slowly decrease so when the voltage passes a certain update point, the SOC should start to decrease.

Hey Di,

Check out these parameters.

You can set the Clear RSOC% Threshold to 99% and then change the Clear Voltage Threshold to the voltage you want SOC to change from 100%.
