Tool/software:
Dear all,
in the TPS22810 datasheet of I cannot find any information on lifetime parameters.
No specs regarding mean time to failure, or mean number of switching cycles to failure.
Is there any data available for the TPS22810 related to this topic?
Application:
I would like to use this part in an application where during active time of the device (ca. 120 sec every 10 minutes), the switching behaviour of the TPS22810 is ca. 120 sec with 8Hz switching and a duty cycle of ca. 50%.
So, I expect around 60 * 10^6 switching cycles per year.
Logic level on EN Pin is 3.3V. Switched input voltages are 3.3V or 5.3V. Loads are very light with usually < 30 mA.
Environmental temperature conditions are between -15°C to + 70°C.
Life time needs to be > 3 years, so the suitable switching part needs to support at least 180 * 10^6 switching cycles under the above conditions...
Could such a number of some hundred millions of switching cycles under the described conditions be a problem for the TPS22810 part?
Thank you for your assistance!
Best regards,
Michael
