PTH power module family

Hi,

I require a power module to supply Vo=1v with Vin=5V or 12V (should work with both). The max current is about 3A.

I thought of usin TI's PTH08T220, though i found out that in case of Vo=1V, the maximu, Vin is Vo x 11 = 11V (while i need 12V)

I found the PTH08000W module in TI website.

Does this module suits for my needs? If not, can you recommend one?

    Roy:

    The suggested module  for both 5Vin and 12Vin at 1Vout is PTH08T230WXX.  The Vout x 1with 12Vin  may  have 2 x output ripple when input voltage is > 11x Vout.The PTH08T231 is also available as ceramic capacitors only .

     

      The PTH08000W has a maximum current of 2.25A. the maximum capacitance is limited to 330uF.
