"It has been found that 270 units of the SMD component IC PIC6B596,
belonging to lot 3CAF8HT, have their output pins (5, 7, 13, 14, and 15)
operating at a low level of 0 volts, which is causing malfunctions in the
displays of the boards. Another 60 units received from lot 39C5DQT were
tested in the circuit and approved. As a result of the rejections,
starting today, we are restricting the defective lot 3CAF8HT in our
system. Therefore, we will no longer accept units from this lot."
