I downloaded the TI LMG series GaN FET models for PLECS and am trying to run a simulation with the device model included. However, I am finding that the thermal results do not make sense. For the same operating conditions, I experimentally measure a GaN FET temperature of about 40°C, but in simulation get approximately the defined ambient temperature.
About 7 months ago in an E2E forum post, it was pointed out that the LMG325xR030_V1 model downloaded from the TI website has some errors in it. Is there any information to be shared about a forthcoming update to the models?
