Customer plan to use the TPS62903RPJR chip here. Could you please confirm if the PG pin needs to be pulled up? How much resistance does it need to be connected through? How much voltage is pulled up? Or can it be suspended in the air？

Also, could you please help me check and confirm if there are any areas that need to be modified in this circuit? Thank you

Hello Jimmy,

Yes, the PG pin is an open-drain output that requires a pullup resistor to any voltage up to the recommended input voltage level. If the power good output is not used, it is recommended to tie to GND or leave it open.

10Kohms to 100Kohms is good range for pull up

The capacitor C1441 is not needed, please remove

you can reduce COUT to only 22uF

change R1402 to 562Kohms and R1403 to 100Kphms

Hi Jimmy,

can be for both, the pin is rate up to 18V. typically pulled to VOUT
