The schematic will need more output capacitance (3 X 22uF). The inductance is a bit high. Try using either a 15uH or 22uH for your application.

Thanks for the Review... I have a small question, why we need to reduce the size of inductor?... Is it not effect the efficiency if we have a wide input (7V-60V) and output 5V.

Can you tell me what is the nominal input voltage for your application? Using the equation 10 in the datasheet,

L=12.2uH @ VIN =12V and if there is a 30% inductor ripple at 2A

L=16.5uH @ VIN=24V and if there is a 30% inductor ripple at 2A

L=18uH @ VIN=36V and if there is a 30% inductor ripple at 2A

L=18.7uH @ VIN=48V and if there is a 30% inductor ripple at 2A

Its a wide input voltage 7V to 60V, while our nominal input voltage is 12V and 48V.

I assume the wide input voltage is caused by the transient condition of VIN? If the nominal input voltage is 12V and 48V, a 15uH inductor will work. The inductor ripple at higher VIN will be in the range of the 20%-40% of the recommended suggestion.
