UCC21750: Paralelization of the RST/EN pin possible?

Hello everyone,

if I use more than one UCC21750 the FLT Pin can paralleled with other faults because it is a open drain. Is this also possible with the RST/EN pin? RST/EN is no open drain and so I am not sure whether this is also possible here.

    Hi Andreas,

    RST/ EN pin is input pin, it can be paralleled as well to reset the needed Drivers. However you need to ensure that the  current requirement for each of the driver to drive High (~100uA). As long as the ucontroller could deliver the needed current, then paralleling EN/RST pin for multiple drivers shouldnt be an issue.

    Hi Sasi,

    first thanks a lot for your quick answer! That helps me a lot. The current should not be a problem. We use a microcontoller in combination with a logic gatter (max high current 25mA) to drive the signal high.
