i need to charge a tiny 35mA Li-ion battery.
the datasheet is not very clear about the minimum charge current allowed
table 6.1 says : "External resistor from ISET to VSS defines fast charge current value. Range is 10.8k (50mA) to 540Ω (1000mA)."
but table 7.5 says :"Programmed Output “fast charge” current range 10 to 1000 mA" with "RISET = 540 to 10.8kΩ"
and KISET is given for iOUT values starting from 10mA also
so, is the BQ2404X suitable for charging a battery at 35 mA (1C) ? if not do you propose an alternate part ?
