BQSTUDIO: Chemistry updates 1092 and 1095 break BQStudio 1.3.124

After attempting to update the chemistry files in my BQStudio, the entire Chemistry Tab went blank.

After some attempts I have seen the following

ChemUpdate1092.zip and ChemUpdate1095.zip break BQStudio. ChemUpdate1089.zip works correctly.

Some further investigation suggests that the problem lies in the file chemdat6, which I guess is corrupted. Replacing chemdat6 in 1095 with one from 1089 makes it work in BQStudio.

Please issue a fix!

Hello,

We have a new version of bqStudio that we are releasing that enables versions 1090 and newer to operate with bqStudio. In the chemID updater release notes, it states that you must have the newest version of bqStudio (v1.3.125 build 10). In the meantime until the new version of bqStudio is published to ti.com, please use version 1089 for the chemID updater.

Hi, thanks for the explanation.

Could you please *not* release chemistry files that are only compatible with a tool version that you have not yet released!? I ended up wasting the better part of 2 hours yesterday because you not only provide incompatible files, but BQStudio itself failed to notice that they were incompatible, and instead self-destroyed so that no chemistries could be accessed at all.

When will the new version of BQStudio be released? Will it include a fix for the unwanted auto-selection of devices if there is more than one device on an i2c-bus?
