LMR50410-Q1: 24V applications table

Part Number: LMR50410-Q1

Tool/software:

Team-

A customer would like to use LMR50410-Q1 with Vin=24V, Vout = 15V and 5V.

Page 17 of the datasheet has a nice table of recommended component values but for Vin=12V.

Can you please make suggestions (would be great to have in the datasheet) for L, Cout for Vin=24V, and Vout = 15V, 5V?

It looks like webench supports this part as well and we can get some guidance there, but would like to double check with you all on the right values.

Thanks!

-Steve

  • Hi Steve,

    I have created a Webench file for Vout = 15V: https://webench.ti.com/appinfo/webench/scripts/SDP.cgi?ID=7F415E27D3801F21

I have also created one for Vout = 5V: https://webench.ti.com/appinfo/webench/scripts/SDP.cgi?ID=7F415E27D3801F21

Please use the Webench files as a starting point along with the design instructions in the Applications Section of the datasheet. Once you and the customer have generated a design, we can review the schematic and layout.

    Best regards,

    Ridge

  • Thanks.

As I mentioned, we already noticed the part was available in Webench.  It was surprising that no 24V recommended component values were in the datasheet.  We'll just refer to Webench for now.
