I'm not clear on how to estimate at what load current the device will switch between PWM mode and PFM mode on the TPS61288.
Can you provide some insight?

Hi Jerry,

The change point is when the input average current is just 1/2 of the ripple current.

You can calculate the ripple current by

When the load continues going down, the device will come to PFM mode.
