BQ25171-Q1: Vref and pullup resistors for Stat Pins

Hello-

For the STAT pins on the BQ25171-Q1, I'm planning on using 6V for Vref, which doesn't seem to be specified other than 3.3V in the ratings. Is there any issue with lowering the pullup resistance on those pins (from the 10k recommended) to increase current through the LEDs?
